Challenge: A new Director of Operations was hired with a client service background but lacked financial planning and investment experience. Advisor/Owner lacked time and skills to properly train.
Objective: Create and implement a training and development program to increase industry knowledge and expand capabilities, allowing the Owner to focus on clients and prospects.
Solution: AEP created and implemented a 5-week training and coaching program to enhance foundational knowledge of financial services. The program included 3-4 weekly on-demand lessons and a one-on-one coaching call. Each week, a progress report was provided to the advisor.
Result: Increased productivity and capabilities of the employee, allowing the advisor to focus his time on clients and prospects rather than training. The employee became more effective in significantly less time. Outsourcing training had significant cost savings compared to an in-house program created and managed by a high-earning advisor.

Solution: Advisory Education Partners devised a customized aptitude survey based on the firm’s client profile, advice, and investment management offerings to assess the existing team’s strengths and weaknesses. Next, utilizing the survey results for each team member, we created tailored training plans that included on-demand lessons and individualized one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance and elevate each team member’s knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
Result: A more consistent client experience, increased team elasticity and capabilities, and increased morale created by the employer’s commitment
Challenge: Our client, recognized as a top industry employer by a national publication, sought assistance in creating an in-house training and development program for their team. The ability to tailor training to each employee’s skills and job description, as well as the capacity to monitor progress, was a key requirement.
Objective: Develop resources and materials to assess team skills and knowledge levels. Build a customized learning platform that allows for the creation of learning plans tailored to each employee, along with providing management insights into employee progress.
Solution: Our team developed tailored online aptitude surveys for each role at the firm and established a co-branded central online learning center. Insights gained from the survey results informed the creation of personalized learning plans, which were uploaded according to a pre-determined schedule.

Challenge: Our client sought cost-effective, industry-specific training resources to enhance their proprietary training program for client service teams located in multiple areas. Additionally, they looked for a training solution for new hires with little or no industry knowledge to be integrated either before or immediately after their start date.
